The additional tickets and beach loungers were for out of the state friends. We waited in the cabanas for another 15 minutes until we were told the park is closing due to the power outage. My family and friends had just got into the wave pool and were told to get out. Unfortunately that same day the power went out within 30 minutes of arrival. I purchased season passes for my husband, son and I as well as four additional day passes for my friends who were visiting out of state as well as two shaded beach loungers. I had a birthday party scheduled for the 29th of May 2019. We won’t be back and plan to tell everyone about this horrific experience. She offered us VIP passes but at this point we told her we were exhausted, frustrated and my friend has stage 4 cancer and we all needed to leave. We pleaded with her and explained our case. At this point we decided we couldn’t wait in any more lines and wanted to relax in the lazy river but discovered they don’t have any tubes, we were told this was caused by a “nation wide tube shortage”.Īt this point, we were burned out, extremely frustrated and exhausted. Our first ride was a 45 minute wait, followed by a 45 second ride! We then attempted to go on one of our favorite rides, Cyclone, and discovered it was closed due to staffing issues.
